Are you a kid ages 8-18?
Do you want more out of life than just going to school every day?
Then, Fannin 4-H is the place for you and this is the perfect time to get involved.
We have all sorts of projects and community service activities, parties, fun meetings and get-togethers… places to go, people to see and things to do!
We are currently enrolling for the 2010-2011 year with clubs around the county. Fannin 4-H offers the opportunity to get involved in your community and make a difference.
We offer learning opportunities that range from learning how to be a good leader, to public speaking, all aspects of food and nutrition, clothing, how to sew and how to buy as well as designing and modeling, outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, shooting sports which include archery and shotgun, aquatic sciences and then of course all of the animal projects which include, horse, sheep, goat, rabbits, chickens, dogs, etc.
You, the 4-Her, run the club and county meetings and learn Robert’s Rules of Order to run an efficient meeting. You will learn to run a meeting better than most adult groups! The other major thing we offer is fellowship with each other. We plan for all sorts of activities including parties, dancing, games, movies and just plain fun.
Come and join us and see what 4-H can do to enhance your life!
